Our client is a Global financial services organisation with an impressive track record of growth and they have been a pioneer in their industry. With a long and established history, the business has become a well recognised brand around the world. An exciting opportunity has arisen in their Sydney Finance Function.
This Financial Reporting Manager role will sit within the wider Finance team and will support the continued growth of the organisation. Directly reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Preparation of the monthly financial reporting
- Managing all the statutory reporting and liaison with the auditors
- Liaising with the Global Head Office and Shared Services Centre
- Preparation of the tax returns
- Preparation of the monthly management reports
As well as the above requirements, there will also be opportunities to drive process improvements and lead various projects to improve the performance of the finance function.
To be considered for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified or equivalent and you will possess a strong background in technical accounting.
You will have an understanding of, or experience working within the Financial Services/Insurance Sector.
You will previously have worked with a large ERP such as SAP or Oracle.
This is a 9 month contract role and requires someone who will commit to the length of the role.
