With its broad remit, coupled with the continuing expansion of the business, there will be significant opportunities for your position as Financial Accountant & Business Partner to grow.
Please note that full training will be provided and they are essentially searching for candidates with a strong learning ability and great attitude.
In your position you will play an important role within the team. You will be able to draw on a wealth of knowledge internally and report directly to a Big 4 trained Financial Controller. More specific duties that you will be trained to take on in this role will include:
Providing detailed monthly and quarterly reporting with commentary.
Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Updating financial models.
Business partnering and becoming a contact for a variety of stakeholders.
Assisting with financial analysis.
Assisting with commercial issues as they arise.
Work on projects and process improvement initiatives.
As you grow into the role and expand your knowledge, your duties will evolve and can move in a variety of directions.
To be considered for this appealingly broad and challenging Financial Accountant & Business Partner role you must possess the majority of the following attributes:
Have a strong academic track record (credit average in Degree as a minimum) coupled with CA / CPA studies (or equivalent qualifications being completed or recently finalised).
Ambitious to learn and grow your career within a high performance culture.
Had a solid grounding in either; a month-end flavoured accounting role OR be making a move from a Chartered firm.
Those with a solid grounding working as an Assistant Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, Auditor or Financial Accountant (or equivalent) are welcome to apply for this role.
