Your duties as the Financial Accountant will include but will not be limited to:
Preparation of month end financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements
Managing the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, including inter-company reconciliations and fixed assets
Preparation and lodgement of BAS, FBT, ABS, Payroll Tax & Workers Compensation
Assistance with preparation of budgets and forecasts and reporting to parent company
Involvement in project and process improvements including system upgrades and implementation
In order to be a successful applicant for this position you must meet most of the below criteria:
Fully qualified as a CA/CPA
2 to 3 years working experience as a Financial Accountant
Experience of working in a fast-paced inventory based environment
Possesses excellent written and verbal English communication skills to deal with stakeholders
Proven experience preparing the P&L Statement and Balance Sheet and general ledger
