This Finance Project Lead role is a 6 month FTC and will see you taking responsibility over a range of projects within finance, claims, underwriting and audit, adding value and driving change within the business. More specifically you will be responsible for:
Implementing IFRS 17 across the business
Driving process improvements across banking and reinsurance
Improving reporting processes and data capture for internal and external reporting
Working with Finance Managers to troubleshoot issues for their teams
Working closely with Management, Internal Audit, Claims, Underwriting and Actuarial teams to improve financial reporting processes
Streamlining the integration process of new business acquisitions
To be considered for this Finance Project Lead role, you should possess strong technical financial knowledge and relevant industry qualifications (e.g. CA/CPA). Ideally you will also have:
Insurance or Financial Services industry experience
Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in relation to IFRS
Prior experience within project focused roles, or leading projects
Strong commercial acumen – ability to business partner effectively with finance and non-finance teams
Proven track record of process improvements and integrations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
