The Company

Our client is a Listed Global IT business and has a reputation as a disruptor within its specialist field.  Over the years they have built up an impressive client base spanning a variety of industries. The Director of Finance will be ideally placed to drive business growth through careful management of the day-to-day accounting function as well as the provision of commercial insight and financial analysis to the Executive team. This is a business with a fresh, energetic and fast paced culture which is clearly evident in the make-up of the existing team.

The Role

Your role as Director of Finance will be immensely varied and will encompass a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Partner with the Global CFO to ensure there is transparency across all aspects of the business’ performance both locally and internationally
  • Work as part of the SLT to help facilitate growth and ensure sound business decisions are made
  • Project ownership – as growth continues there will be the need to streamline processes and improve systems effectiveness
  • Continuously analyse the business through FP&A activity whilst looking for opportunities to drive profitability
  • Business partner with various stakeholders across the organisation in order to provide both support and education thus helping others achieve their goals

Your Background

In order to be considered for this Director of Finance opportunity, you will ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • A Financial Controller (or equivalent) ready to step up with a proven background in the areas of both financial control and FP&A
  • A Head of Finance (or equivalent) with experience working within a fast growing multinational IT business

Additionally, you will possess skills in the majority of the following areas:

  • Demonstrable experience working closely with overseas stakeholders and as part of an Executive Team
  • Professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in driving projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Enthusiasm, energy and willingness to travel internationally on a quarterly basis
  • You will come from an IT related background or have had experience within a high growth multinational business
