Our client is an Australian-owned wholesale company who have operations across Australia and New Zealand, as well as North America. They have been in operation for over 80 years with long-standing clients. They are seeking a Credit Officer to join their team on a part-time, contractual basis to begin with. Offering long-term employment after their period of change.
As the Credit Officer you will report to the Financial Controller, and focus on the following duties:
Collection calls and emails
Receipting and generating invoices
Evaluating credit applications
Reviewing outstanding debtors
Liaising with Sales Reps, Mercantile, and Legal teams
Bad debt write-offs
Support AP team with Foreign Exchange data entry
To become a valued member of the finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes:
1 weeks’ notice or less
A minimum of 1 years’ experience with AR/Credit (either as your primary role or part of)
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience with Navision is highly regarded, but not essential
