Our client has been doing really well and over the last ten years they have produced some fantastic results. As a result of this growth they are now looking for a Collections professional who can own the credit function. The role will work alongside a fun and experienced finance manager who can provide direction and mentoring.
As the Collections Officer, you will take full ownership of the ledger. You will report into an experienced Credit Manager performing the following duties:
Receipting and allocation of payments
Conduct risk assessments and credit limits
Reconciliation of debtor accounts
Liaison with legal experts
Engage with sales teams
To be successful in this Collections Officer role, you must have the following skills:
Have at least 3 years of experience in a Collections based role
Be confident speaking on the phone
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as this role will involve collections calls
Strong work ethic to hit the ground running
