Our client is a privately owned retail business that has grown exponentially in the last 8 years. They were agile to face the challenges in the business of Covid and are bouncing back better than ever.
They are still on a growth trajectory and the team need a great Business Analyst to support the CEO, CFO & Operations Manager.
This small office has a relaxed atmosphere. Most of the Head Office staff have been there between 3-10 years. You can benefit from that knowledge and a stable team. A perfect learning environment for an aspiring junior candidate.
This role has been newly created and will include tasks such as:
Analyse business and financial data to draw insights to assist with strategy development, process improvement and management decision making
Produce new reporting capability and analysis of business and financial performance KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities
Support the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts
Monitor and analyse budgets, forecasts and other business data. Provide reports with recommendations to the senior leadership team and the Board
Financial modelling to support decision making
Our client is very flexible on the background of the candidate. The key things that they are looking for are:
A degree in Accounting, Finance or Property
At least 2-3 years in an accounting or analytical role
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills to be able to talk to the senior level executives in the business
Examples of analytical work on your resume. These could be achievements you have worked on outside of your core role!
Experience in retail or a multi-site environment would be advantageous
