The Company
Our client is a respected Australian Engineering Consultancy business, known for their exceptional culture, flexibility and openness to positive change. They are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their finance team of 8 on a temporary basis to support them through what is expected to be a busy start to 2022.
The Role
Your role as a Bookkeeper will be varied, working closely with the Finance Manager and CFO, you will be responsible for:
General Ledger reconciliations
Processing journal entries
Daily bank reconciliations
Analysis and allocation of debtor receipts
Assisting with timesheeting, PAYG and Superannuation
Fixed Asset Maintenance
Assisting with invoicing and collections (low volume)
Your Background
To be considered for this Bookkeeper role you will have the following skills and attributes:
Immediate notice / ability to start in January
Prior experience as a Bookkeeper
Prior exposure to Payroll duties (PAYG, Super, Timesheeting)
Excellent attention to detail
Good Excel skills (vlookups and formulas)
Strong initiative and problem solving skills
Bookkeeping qualifications are highly regarded
