Our client is working with two businesses currently in the mature startup phase. They are looking to hire a strong bookkeeper to work alongside business owners and help with the strategic decision making required to grow their business. Our client is located in Wynyard which is easily accessible by public transport.
This is a Bookkeeper role where you will report to the owners of the business and be responsible for the following duties:
Accounts Payable – handling enquiries and payments, processing employee expenses
Assisting with month end reporting
Fixed asset register
Adhoc administration tasks, including revenue management, project support, and business reporting
To be considered for this Bookkeeper position, you will have:
Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts all-rounder role
Xero or MYOB software experience is highly regarded
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
You must have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of the business and address queries from internal and external stakeholders in a friendly and approachable manner.
