This Assistant Accountant role is to support the Financial Controller in the following tasks:
- Prepare Various Monthly Reports for Management
- Customer rebate calculations
- Credit Card expense management through the customised software, including credit card reconciliations
- Prepayments, accruals and journals to assist with month end
- Debtors reconciliations
- FBT - Calculate monthly FBT and prepare annual returns
- Assistance with monthly BAS returns
This role is perfect for an experienced Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper, who enjoys a supporting finance role and isn’t looking for great career progression. The team is very stable so they are looking for someone happy to stay in this role for the next couple of years at least.
You will have experience with credit card management, reconciliations, and Accounts payable. If you have had experience with BAS and/or Rebate calculations that would be highly regarded!
Excellent communication skills, a good work ethic and someone that who naturally works well in a team is a great profile for this role.
Given this role is located on the Northern Beaches, it would also be advantageous if you live nearby.
