The role is an Assistant Accountant, with the view that the right person will grow into a Financial Accountant in the medium-term.
You would be responsible for:
Inventory Maintenance and Compliance
Product Pricing & Costing
Assist with the management of inventory accounting
Month end assistance including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role it is essential that you have costing experience & inventory management. Our client is looking to train and develop the other skills but you must have worked in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale or an industry which is product focused honing your costing skills.
Pronto would be an advantage the client is flexible on this.
Finally it would be expected you have excellent communication skills so that you can liaise effectively with the non-financial staff in the business.
