Our client is a growing and successful Australian IT Software business with operations on a global scale. With a Sydney head office that is centrally located in the CBD, their finance team requires the services of a confident, organised and committed Accounts Receivable Team Leader that can manage a team and support their daily operations.
As the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, your role will be multi-faceted. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading, training and developing four AR Officers within the team
- Perform full function AR duties including receipting, allocations, billing, invoicing and reporting
- Handle escalated issues
- Drive process improvements
- Ad hoc project work in conjunction with the wider business
As the successful AR Team Leader, you will have a background in Accounts Receivable and must have managed a team of AR Officers. You will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar senior AR position. You will be familiar with the escalation of all AR/credit related matters, and have a sound understanding of the AR function. You will be highly literate in the use of accounting systems. You will be a confident, passionate and articulate individual, adept at forging lasting relationships and facilitating the smooth running of the AR team.
