They are now looking for a talented, social and driven AR / AP Manager to join their team and lead the continued development of the transactional accounting personnel. The company offer flexibility and you will be able to work in a hybrid manner both at home and in the office.
As the AR / AP Manager, your role will be multi-faceted and allow you to have an input into continued growth of the business. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Perform month end accounting procedures and produce weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly reports
Act as an escalation point for more complicated functions relating to Accounts Payable and Credit Control
Lead, train and develop a team of 5
Lead system and process upgrades
Cashflow management and forecasting
Reconciliation of payments, bank and credit card accounts, foreign currency payments
To be considered for this AR / AP Manager opportunity you will have:
Proven experience as a Credit Manager, Billing Manager, Shared Service manager and/or AP Team Leader position
Tangible achievements with systems and process improvement
Strong experience either leading or mentoring junior staff
High attention to detail
Confidence to interact with different stakeholders
It is essential that you are a confident communicator (both written and verbal)
This role would suit someone that has led a small team previously. You will be eager to take on a managerial role and contribute to the development of the team.
