Our client is proudly community based and works within the not for profit sector. You will need to manage three AP staff members and ensure that the work they are delivering is correct and flows well. You will review the batch payments before sending them to the management accountant for final payment. You will also be expected to assist with system implementation which includes preparing and checking the data. The working environment is quite manual and you will be expected to step up and do the transactional side when needed.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have experience in an AP Supervisor level. Our client will require someone who is hands on and used to working within manual environments. You will have great excel skills as well as a positive attitude towards your work. You will have good communication skills as you are expected to communicate with the staff within your team. You will also be immediately available or on a short notice period of less than 2 weeks.
