Our client is a key player in the construction industry. They have been around for over 100 years. They have set up a new business unit with a unique offering that this role would work in.
There is the support of the corporate head office accounting team located in the same building, who are very friendly and approachable. This Accountant role would then work with the Operations Manager of the new business unit.
This is a great role for an ambitious Assistant Accountant who has initiative and likes thinking of better ways to do things.
You would initially be responsible for:
Daily bank reconciliation
Preparation of a range of reports including monthly reports
Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly content and product payments
Processing invoicing, credits and refunds
Accounts Payable & Receivables (low volume)
To be considered for this new Accountant role we are looking for:
An accounting degree as a minimum
Strong bank reconciliations experience
Someone who has worked in a small business
Good examples of achievements on your resume, where you have come up with new ideas and ways of doing things in previous roles
A minimum of 3 years accounting experience
Excellent communication skills
