Our client, a specialist player in the Construction and Project industry, has been operating for over 20 years in Sydney. Its’ recent acquisition by a larger, leading national constructor has led to the need to ‘beef’ up the acquired business’s leadership function. With a combined business turnover of over $500m, they are well-resourced and positioned for further growth.
Whilst reporting to the parent company’s Group Finance Manager, this position will work closely with the General Manager to help grow the business.
However, before all that interesting stuff starts, the newly installed Financial Controller will need to roll up their sleeves and set up best-in-class month-end accounting and reporting processes.
Although it’s called a Financial Controller, it’s essentially a ‘Head of Finance’ role.
