Company Background

Our client is a rapidly growing wholesaler and retailer, who have had an incredible growth story over the past 12-18 months. They are focusing on strengthening internal systems and processes over the next year, and are seeking a talented Accountant to join their team and take a lead on enhancing reporting and dashboards for the business.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this Accountant role will focus on:

• Manage the organisation's financial compliance obligations
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting across taxation, payroll and statutory requirements
• Oversee BAS and IAS lodgements, monitor regulatory compliance
• Support the finance team with broader accounting initiatives

Your Background

To be considered for this Accountant role, you will have the following skills and experiences:

• Immediate availability (short notice periods can be considered for the right candidate)
• Background within a business services/accounting firm environment
• Strong Australian tax and compliance experience, including GST, BAS, IAS and payroll-related obligations
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
